Rao, Outreach Manager, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Kadam, and Mobilization and Marketing head, Dr. Suresh Patil, along with the Tulsi eye hospital’s team, warmly welcome Sight Savers and Tata Elxsi to the inauguration of the Netravasant Rural Eye Health Project at Sarole Pathar, Tal. Sangamner, Dist. A’Nagar.

This initiative is a significant step towards providing quality eye care services to rural areas, aligning with Tulsi Eye Hospital’s mission to combat blindness and restore sight. With the support of Sight Savers and Tata Elxsi, this project aims to make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals in rural communities.

Tulsi Eye Hospital was honored to host its esteemed trustees, Mr. Jagdish Mithu Chanrai and Mr. Kannan Krishnamurti Narayanan, on November 26, 2024. This visit reaffirmed their commitment to advancing eye care excellence and reflected the hospital’s mission to provide world-class eye care, especially to underserved populations.

Mr. Jagdish Mithu Chanrai, known for his visionary leadership and philanthropic impact, has been a driving force behind numerous initiatives supporting healthcare access and community development through the Tulsi Trust. As a member of the Board of Trustees at Tulsi Eye Hospital, Mr. Chanrai joins other distinguished members, including Mrs. Bharati Jagdish Chanrai, Dr. Prakash Kevalram Mirchandani, Mr. Subramanium Shivramkrishnan, and Mr. Kannan Krishnamurti Narayanan.

The hospital team, led by CEO Dr. G.V.Rao and accompanied by former Chief Executive Director Major D.K. Zarekar, extended a grand welcome to the dignitaries. This visit was a testament to the collective mission of Tulsi Eye Hospital to provide compassionate and sustainable eye care solutions.
